This film is about a short man who falls in love with an unusually tall woman, as can be deduced from the trailer and the film’s title. Adding a further twist, it is revealed that the girl’s father, who is likewise depicted as short, is obsessed with getting his daughter married to a tall man. This generation’s daily challenges are also described in the film.
There’s a lot of traditional comedy in the video, so it appears like this one will be fun. A series of funny punches erupted in our stomachs as soon as we viewed the trailer for this movie.
The film will also feature several talented supporting actors, like Jaswinder Bhalla, Honey Mattu, Sukhi Chahal, Anita Devgan, and others.
They are sure to bring a decent dose of humor to the proceedings. Besides the spirit, the film also has a romance subplot. Even if the on-screen chemistry between the two protagonists appears to be excellent, we’ll have to wait for the film to arrive before making any decisions.
When it comes to the general tone of the trailer, I have to say that it sounds positively absurd. Furthermore, it is heartening to see our Punjabi cinema tackling more contemporary and delicate subjects like these lightheartedly.
While some people may be offended that such delicate themes are being dealt with in a lighthearted manner, we believe that Punjabi filmmakers taking on such projects are a great indication. Is it as amusing as it claims to be? Only when the film is released in theaters will we find out. Until then, we can only speculate.
